We got in on the remnants of the hurricane, kind of, in a roundabout way. Started raining last evening and it's still raining. Wouldn't be so bad except it was 49 at 6am, dropped all day to the current 41 (6pm), add in that nice "breeze" (10-20 mph) out of the north and it basically sucks goat turds outside.

They're talking possible snow showers tonight with slushy accumulation on the so called "grassy areas". NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope that crap stays farther north.

However,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there is still hope that the car season isn't QUITE over yet. Naturally it's after the weekend though. Typical.

Now we get the wind.
Mid 50's today and gusts up around 60+ mph.

Had a little hint of things to come last night. Woke up this morning to about an inch of that "s" word stuff. The roads were just wet, still warm enough it melted on contact (no salt!!!!!!!!!!!!). Was all gone by mid morning even though it only got up to a sweltering "high" of 41 and that stupid north wind.............Sun finally came out about 5:30, just in time for it to shine a few minutes and then disappear below the horizon. That low 60's next week is going to feel like a regular heat wave.

One of those days where all a person wants to do is lay on the sofa and watch TV (and sleep). Dark, raining, 44 degrees, the street lights never shut off yet the clouds are so heavy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yuck.

Actually I think I'll check the sofa out. Science Channel is running Mythbuster's all day and it's one of my favorite shows (especially the one's with Kari Byron, lol). Always feel guilty about not doing things I should be doing but what the heck, got to be a lazy slob once in a while, right?

There's ALWAYS stuff to do on the plate.
When it gets done is another story.
Doing laundry while I'm surfing.

They said the sun would be out in the morning before the gloom and rain.
But they got it wrong yet again.

I still need Halloween candy, but it's supposed to rain.
Then last yr I had 0 kids.
Not too many kids in my hood, because I generally hate other peoples kids.
I bought into the proper neighbourhood.
