The FMJ Weather Channel

Well here we are March 4th it was -26C (-14.8 F) this morning in the truck......
 
We've had all this precipitation this winter, & when it melts, we'll be slogging through muddy/salty/slushy dookie for the next month. Hopefully we will get enough rain to wash all this spooge down the drains so we're not undercoating our cars with it. We haven't had a winter in Cleveland this bad since 1984. We're within a day of a new record for below 0, which I understand we should make tonight. We're within a few inches of the 3rd most snowfall in a season. All in all, not the worst, but not far from it, AND the season isn't over yet! Then flood, then mud, & finally, hopefully summer!
 
10°F and partly sunny today....
And I see a glimmer of hope that this relentless winter may be winding down.
Mid 30's by the weekend and the 14 day forecast says we'll be staying around there.
I can dream...
 
It's -11°F at the moment, but... but... could it be?!

I don't look at those anymore. I get upset when they lie. I hear people talking about how they look and see the weather for the weekend..that's how I get my info. Once its solidly in the 40's at the lower end..then I'll start paying attention. Gotta know when I can wear shorts, and when I can fire the Dip up and get it ready to drive around.
 
You'd have to be this far north to really appreciate how warm those temps seem. We've essentially been at single-digit highs or less for three months. I took the garbage out this AM at the -11 mark, and it didn't seem so bad with the sun shining and no wind. When that temp seems tolerable, you know you've been cold way too long.
 
Today was sunny and a summer like 40°....
The 14 day says freezing or just above.
This is the single most hope inspiring sign I've seen since October that spring is actually coming.....

By 9:30AM, we're already @ 32°F, with sun and only a hint of breeze and a predicted high of 48°.

Yes. Oh my God, yes!

Day off + sun + reasonable warmth = garage time! Well, after I get other chores done that have gone neglected far too long...
 
Grey, gloomy, daylight freaking savings and at work....
BUT it's above freezing and except for one night of real cold predicted the norm is looking like were staying out of the arctic zone.....amen.
 
Aren't you a day behind us in weather? Or am I looking in the wrong direction?

It's sunny and the snow is melting like mad. I love it!
 
No, I was about right... you're behind us in weather. What's here today you should see tomorrow or Wednesday. Wednesday it's supposed to get cold again, but we're supposed to at least stay in the upper 20s after that.

I'll take whatever warm temps you want to send this way.....
 
I'll be waiting on that.
Was just harassing my buddy about when we can take the cars out.
Just need a couple of solid days of rain.....it's coming.
 
Just when you thought it might be over......
Going down to 20° and they're saying there's a big ass storm coming.
Just under a foot of snow predicted by tomorrow night.
It's just not fair........
