went to the track yesterday. this car is running so dang tight i might end up winning a race. 9.07, 9.09, and 9.06. to bad a steel braided line gave up the ghost in the staging lanes going up for 1st round. i was feeling good about going some rounds.

fix the line and go over the car for the next race day.

Brake or transmission, or??? Any damage (to the car) beyond the line failure itself?

...also: what specifically failed? Line itself (split?), fitting, flare, etc? I'm curious, that's all...

its a methanol line that goes to the barrel valve. i took it off this morning and it feels like it has a bulge in one spot. can't tell until feeling it up lol

What kind of lines are running? PTFE line and Fragola Real Street fittings are what you want. Pricey, but excellent stuff. Makes for great power steering lines too. Real easy to put together.

1st pass off the trailer I cut a .006 reaction so I knew I was gonna have a great weekend.

Couple passes later I was rewarded with .000 perfect light and ran my dial. I didn’t leave much room for my opponent with a 7 total package. Very hard to beat that. Got a nice mug as a keepsake.

3rd round I dial a 5.72 and for some reason the track put up a 5.32 dial and I lost the race. I didn’t catch it so it’s my fault.

Car is running great, 8 passes from 5.75-5.78, that’s a touch car to beat.
