Time To Whip It Out!

Same here.
Ditto. Main reason,,,,,,,the weather sucked. Rain, rain, rain, then some more rain....

Since the very first drive around the block after the build in Dec 2012 (before it had snowed yet) and now, grand total of a whopping 348 miles on the odometer. Wow...............I guess if you want to get technical. that's 348 miles since August of 1996 when the trans fried, the car sat in the garage for 5 years while life got in the way and then another 10 being built. Damn, hope next season is better.

Hey......
She looks great.
It's running great.
The hard work is done and next year it'll be just drive.
Good times ahead .

Whipped it out for a few miles early this morning. Getting ready for the winter hibernation so I stopped and topped off the tank with the ethanol free premium and dumped in some Sta-Bil. Might go out again this evening for one more run yet. I'm not going to commit to the storage thing just yet though! As long as it hasn't snowed and salted yet, the heater works really good so screw it, run it while you can right?

To be honest, I'm just getting antsy to do some work on it but don't want to take anything apart and then kick myself because I started too early. You know what I mean.

Just figured out one reason I don't drive the car more. I keep a log book in the glove box and one thing I write in it is the miles every time I fill the tank. Calculated the mileage,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,9.7 and ethanol free premium is currently $3.15/gal. Granted, that's 95% city type driving and I didn't build it for fuel economy but still, sigh...........................:)

Then again, how can you put a price on fun and some guys spend way more on their hobbies so it's all good.

It's still cheaper than beer.
And no......you can't put a price on that kind of fun.

Was nice today, so I put a couple miles on.

Well two Sundays ago the Mirada went away, it was a short season, never came out of storage until July, wasn't licensed and inspected until September, still managed to put a couple thousand km on it.

Not much time left this season so took advantage of it being dry and warm this evening, for Nov 1st anyway, and burnt about a gallon of gas I'd estimate. In other words, about 9 or 10 easy on the throttle miles.

Nice day out, think I will take one of the M's out for a spin. Oh that's right my dumb ass sold them both, I guess I will just wish I had one instead. Hang on to them fella's you will be sorry, I miss mine.

Nice bright sunny day (not very warm though), took the Aspen out for a few miles earlier this afternoon. Was a nice drive provided I wasn't headed west, into the sun. Dang it's bright today!

One thing I'll NEVER do is sell this car. Next owner will only be after I'm in a 6 foot deep hole in the ground which I hope won't be for a long time yet!
