tires

I was gonna put the 235/60/15 on my 87 Gran Fury but the off set on the stock rims is like 5-1/2 inches and these police rims are like 4-3/4 inches my concern is in the the upper control arm hitting at a turn can anyone advise? Picture of what I wanna use

Run them. The only thing you might run into is if your front alignment is a bit off for many different reasons you could lightly shave off a bit of the wheel weights just hitting the very top lip of the upper control arm. I have only had that issue one time because of purposely doing the alignment the way I did. It made its clearance and was not bad enough to switch to a stick on inner wheel weight.

If your that worried bolt a rim on the front and put a 6x6 block under the wheel and let it load the cars weight and you will see it is close it is but not an issue.

And they came that way....

thanks-- so with a tire mounted the side of the tire won't rub on the upper control arm I was thinking the tire may stick out a bit more then the rim

Section width of the tire does not matter in that area because its above the control arm. And the size your going to use is very common.
