Jon won D/SA in his 340 71 Demon
AND
I won N/SA in his Old 78 Aspen 318 Wagon (Small Valve 1.78/1.50)
over several well driven Small Block Chevrolets.

John faced our friends in the Loge and Stein 69 440 Dart GTS
in the finals. They ran 10.65 @ 122 in the heat (Close to 100 and
Humid). Jon ran 10.59 @ 117 fender racing and whomping the last 320
from the 1000 ft. to protect our combo from getting HP (10.549 would do it)

Loge and Stein Race/Machine/Dyno Shop one is of the very best racing machine shop
AND Mopar engine builders on the West Coast and our family friends for over 60 years.
They beat several of the toughest D/SA cars in the country to get to the finals. A few months
ago they finished the machine work on the new 318 shortblock for my 318 Aspen SS/NA (Old
Paul Rossi Car).

My 318 Aspen engine was the last engine that my close friend Gregg Luneauk (TriCity Perf.)
built prior to his passing of Kidney Cancer. We dedicate both of our wins to him today!!

I also myself struggled with Kidney Cancer and had a 12 Hour Surgery during which I died several
times. However, God in his undeserved Grace and Mercy delivered me.

Congratulations on your wins and your dedication to Gregg for his contributions to your program.

Great couple of weekends for members of this site and their families as they race together.

MOPAR 2 'YA gang, keep those bowties on their toes!!

Since NHRA changed the rules
to penalize what use to be performance
classes, we do not have much choice!

Next NHRA will probably give everyone a
Wally for just participation.
