I don't know what a "8.8" rear is (did you me 8-3/4? or are you talking Ford?), but even the gearing itself has to be matched up with the remaining powertrain/drivetrain combination.

So what shape is the ride in?

What shape is the motor/powertrain in?

Love the idea of 'T-tops', but I'm thinking gasket/trim nightmare these days given the lack of factory replacement options...so is this something anyone wants to get into???

Finally, where are YOU coming from (LOL): buying or selling?

ford 8.8 posi 371 ratio rebuilt 1989 la360 roller cam motor new drive shaft speedo matched t tops dont leak new front leather seats white blue dash n rugs trans was redone 8yrs ago 999a torque flite factory mags all around will need tires ive been sick car garage kept 12-15miles last 5 yrs registered n on road since i bought it ask more if i missed dont know how to post pics on here stroke did job on me

Hard to place a value without pics and even then it's all over the place. Someone can sell a real nice one for $6 grand or more. The next person could have a problem getting $2,500 for the identical car.

The T tops make it more desirable to some but the Ford rear end is a detractor.
 
If body is super nice, paint and everything I've seen these cars fetch $8500. Put it up for sale high. You can always lower the price, but you can't raise it after it's gone.
