Uncle had one. gave it too my Brother, we called it "Huggy Bear". that car was so comfortable. too bad it was a POS. boy that was years ago. i remember when my brother took it to school, he felt so cool. then all the rich kids pulled up in their Audis and BMWs.

weather is warming up and finally getting ready to do this after all this time. just wanted to ask. the passenger side bolt is hidden underneath the cat shield? or does it go through it?

It's underneath it. I think there's 3 stamped nuts holding the shield on. They're really thin and fragile
 
well today i learned. it looks like i was trippin over nothing. the inner bolts on this car are just simply missing.

am i missing something? i guess the bench seats just don't have a bolt there?

The benches only have the outside bolts I think. Hopefully you have the seat tracks for the seats you bought. The holes should be there, just plugged

yep. only outside bolts. went in just fine. i'll unplug the holes for the passenger side but the Driver's seat doesn't flop and sits fine on the hump. if need be i can take the Bench's passenger side seat track and put it on this seat. the Fifth these came out of had power driver seat and manual passenger seat.

wonder if i should add the little plastic seat track covers from off the Fifth ,
 
Did you get the power seat track? I wouldn't rely on just 1 manual seat track to hold that seat in place, especially in a collision
