Do, by chance, the urethane bushings push out of the outer sleeves with not much more than hand pressure? I'm thinking (look out, lol) some urethane bushings slide in in two pieces (one from each side) and then the inner sleeve is pushed in or the bushing is one piece but still pushes into the outer sleeve. Hard to explain what I mean but you probably get where I'm coming from.

I get what your saying. They finally responded saying I should be able to push them out by hand.
I just got home for the day so, we’ll see.

oh, never did tell me if they’re rubber or urethane either.

Yup, meanwhile my cars been sitting for two weeks waiting for them to arrive and I’m still waiting on a response from them.
I’m not very thrilled about it after handing over $490.

You paid how much!?!? Sweet Jesus! When I bought mine they were about $350. And yes, those are urethane bushings. And yes, they will squeak! Noise isn't really noticeable in cabin, but of you bounce the bumper you'll hear it.

Yea. $490 with shipping.
As far as individual parts go, they cost more than anything else I bought and put into the car. I spent around a grand building my rear end but, that was having an AHB axle and drive shaft shipped from Ohio, new gear set, sure grip, brakes ect...I just want my car on all four wheels again.

I recommend lubing the bushings before installation with grease made for urethane to prevent squeaks. Something like this:

Thinking pretty hard about picking up a new set of wheels and tires tomorrow morning and ditching the dated, off set blade wheels I have on the car currently. You know, fresh wheels and two front tires to compliment the tubular control arms and alignment. That all finally gets done this weekend.
Getting that, prothane lube took a few days, since I ordered it over the weekend.

Those would compliment your car nicely. What size rim and tire combos?

Rims are 15x8, thinking 255/60/15 all around.

Anyone happen to know the torque specs for the control arm pivot shaft nuts?
I feel like it’s 80ftlbs for the ends (and those get torque when the cars on the ground at ride height) and 120ftlbs for the two in the middle of the shaft.
This is the last year of daily driving this thing. Found out we have a baby on the way. Time for something “safer” and to park this so I can really give it the work and attention it needs long term.

The Dippy site says 110 ftlbs for the ends (torque them at ride height as you wrote) and 150 ftlbs for the adjustment nuts (center ones).

Ball parked the alignment late Sunday night and drove the car to work yesterday. Man, what a difference.
It’s hard to describe the change in feel but, there’s so much more confidence when cornering at regular traffic speed.
I had installed pivot shafts from, Rare Parts a couple years ago and those certainly helped; but, pairing them with the tubular upper control arms is an absolute game changer.
Car should be on the alignment rack first thing tomorrow morning to really get things dialed in.

Pulled the trigger on the wheels, Got a couple 255/60 tires on order.
Since my rear tires still look about brand new, I’ll just rotate them up front and throw the slightly bigger new meats in the back.
So I’ll be running 245/60 front and 255/60 rear.
Also, working out a deal for a, AHB Gran Fury. Hopefully it works out so, I can get the sway bars and gauges and interior pulled out of it, part out the rest and scrap the body...it’s been sitting in a field in Wisconsin for years.

I'm assuming: 15" wheels?

If you do get the AHB, let me know. I have a few parts needed that you might not be interested in.

Those bars are going to make a world of difference. Hell, even just the front cop bar makes a very noticeable difference in cornering.
