Watching this shoot out documentary, and happened to catch this transition frame.

Probably factory doors. If you pull off the cover the glass is still there even on the Fifths.

I wouldn’t have figured there’s actually glass lurking underneath those covers.

Duke5a is 100% correct on that.
When I renovated my 87 FA, and put in luminescent tape for the old opera lights, there was glass in there.

I think that "might have" changed for the '88-89 M's. When the assembly line was sent to WI, a lot of changes changed like the fixed door glass on Fifth Ave's. All Fifth Ave's made before '88 model year came with rear fixed door glasses installed.

Yes, 88 and 89s have a plastic panel instead of glass and studs on the roof panel that go thru it to secure it instead of the screws and rivets from previous years.
Everything else on the door is the same, one of my rear doors is off an 89 Caravelle.

Oddly enough they also changed the power motor plugs.

I’ve pulled the interior covers off once in my, ‘89 to reupholster it and, just remember their being a molded plastic panel behind it with, pass throughs for the wiring of the opera lamps. No glass though.

Chrysler does like to change things like plug-in connectors every so often.
If I recall correctly, there are four (or maybe 3?) different power window motor plug-in connector styles used on the FMJ's from '76 to '89.

Scratching chin, a '88 Monaco . . . hum.
Yea, Facebook marketplace, semi interestingly, doesn’t have options to list a number of car models. You’d think for a website that’s compiled as much data as, they have over the years would, have cars down on a list to a, T; must not be of any importance to anyone working there.
