I desperately wanted a new Dodge one, I even posted a want ad here, and only a used one has popped up on ebay that I've seen and he wanted a stupid price with even stupider shipping. Someone paid the price. This Plymouth grille is in very nice shape and it was cheap.

Now it has a Plymouth grille and Plymouth taillights. And a 71 Challenger SE badge that was $10 shipped. Why? Because it's cheap and I'm sure it'll annoy someone
we'll call your car the "Plodger Gran Fifthlomat" also you wanted a blocky Diplomat SE badge? i found a stash of badges my Dad had with two

Been busy with a brand X project. My grandfather's old pickup. 1992 F150, Extended cab, short box, RWD, 4.9L, E4OD, 8.8. Started working on it last year replacing body panels on the front end and moved to the back this year. This weekend will probably be installing the exhaust and whatever small parts I have left while waiting for the axle to come back from the shop.

EV's are so popular, there's a wait at the charging station, LOL

Since this was built in the Target out lot, I've never seen anyone using it actually.

This morning around 9am......

Going to Sweden tomorrow with the A100 (LeBaron was up there two years ago). Approx 600 mls one way. More than 10.000 US classics expected everyday. Returning Sunday.

I remember, when I was just a wee lad, seeing those quite often, along with the van version. One by one, they vanished until they were no more.

Don't forget, we want photos from the show!

This is the direct link to the Vaesteras album.

Gallery with 2024 Vaesteras Pics

I'll upload more or less regular, but at least daily, so check back often. :)

Couple hundred pics added. Including Aspen, Volare.
Today was pretty slow on the airfield, Saturday will likely be the top day.
Cruising the city was going on already, lots of sightseers. Like a festival. And lots of raggare.

At least that color combo is nicer. I'm of the opinion that if you're gonna own one of these cars, it has to be interesting, because they have very little going for them stock. That ebay ad kept describing the engine as "powerful." I'm pretty sure a 3 cylinder, 1.5L ford escape makes more horsepower these days

Missing trim and not even low miles!

Typical dipshit used car dealers that have no concept of what an old car is worth. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's desirable. It'll go through multiple rounds of relisting with the price coming down each time until it hits reality. Nice car though.

Dang, you aren't messing around, are you? With a EFI 4.9L it'll run forever, too.

Truck has 155k miles on it and I checked the compression this year and all six holes are within 3% of one another. I was going to do a total rebuild on it, but now I'm having a hard time justifying it. Will probably swap out the head still with a Promaxx CNC ported head, change the cam and go with a Sniper EFI unit. My grandfather loved that motor, but sweet good lord is it a dog. Have to downshift out of OD at 70 if you hit a slight head wind or grade. All done making power at 3k RPM too. I'm over on Ford Six reading build recipes and if done right I can squeeze 250HP out of it with a RPM limit of 5k naturally asperated. That would be perfect for a summer cruiser.
