Oh no, Jeep was infected with the Chrysler coolant line problem too? It's so bad friggin Dorman has a whole line of upgraded connections and hoses for Chrysler products. You know a design sucks when Dorman can take the time and make a better part

You got it.
A seemingly pointless plastic connection in the middle of the hose snapped after the anti vibration clip that holds the hose to the intake manifold snapped.

Yup, they all break. Some cost cutting loser made an entire career out of saving Chrysler 10 cents on every coolant line. Doorman has a bunch of replacement aluminum fittings you can splice in or you can just buy a brass hose connector from the hardware store.

Dips kill their coolant lines? never had one fail though they always have burn marks on them. i have heard of water pumps going up in these.

ah, i see. must be one of the reasons i see so many in the local junkyards. whole line of 15+ Darts. or that's just because they're junk in general

2015 was 10 years ago. When you go to a junkyard and think you see lots of "new" cars that aren't really new, it's a sign that you're getting old
