The FMJ Weather Channel

I accomplished almost nil. I got to the hardware store and picked up more of the stuff I need for organizing, and... ran into a friend who then came by to check out the Challenger. We ended up bench-racing for about 3 hours. I hadn't seen him in awhile, so while it wasn't time wasted it wasn't what I'd hoped to accomplish, either. Still, I think I accomplished something--it gave him the itch to get his low-11-second Duster out for the summer. He's been neglecting it while a contractor's using his garage as a staging area for some remodeling. Still gorgeous out there, though, so all is not lost... yet.

Been a three day early heatwave up here...in the 90's.
Back to normal now....low to mid 70's and sunny......nice!

Well I certainly can't complain about this spring
It's been all out perfect....bit of rain, lots of sun and totally liveable temps
Looking at a few drive by thunderstorms today and low 80's
I'll take that. :walk:

got some nice thunderstorms going today. seems like I read somewhere that lightning is so hot it causes the air to spontaneously combust around it, and that's what thunder is.

It rained last night, cleared this morning, and started raining again shortly after I took those pics for 72Dodge. The sky looks like it's starting to clear now, though, and it's supposed to be a nice afternoon, partly cloudy and mid-70s.

We had some insane storms blow through here yesterday.
At one point it looked like someone had a fire hose on my windows.
They had a tornado in Angus which is a small town a couple of hours from me.

the sky actually turned green for a while, no tornados, but the clouds looked like the underside of waves rollng in

Green is never a good sign....glad to hear it skated by you.

This was a couple of weeks ago half way to my trailer....

Well, "partly cloudy" actually resulted in "fairly crappy" for the whole afternoon. Since my current project is on the outside of the garage, I skipped out on it until the wind dies down and the sky looks less threatening.

Just waiting for it to clear up a little here, then I have to go diagnose the neighbor's riding mower's inability to move. My one day off with good weather... :angry5:

Have the tried unplugging it, and plugging it back in?

I'm about ready to try plugging in C4. As if it weren't bad enough, it's in the middle of low ground: Mosquito Central. :eusa_doh:

Hot......it's bloody hot.....
Luckily I spent most of this heatwave at my trailer.
In the city today it was 90something feeling like 100°.....
Summer approach-eth.

120 degrees F in Kuwait today with a nice gentle wind.

Keep it.

Had the 90's today with a stiff ass wind blowing most of the day. Of course, it was a hot wind. But it cooled off the sweat for the time I had to be outside. Thankfully, I have work in the house to get done on days like today. Did the mowing when it was "only" in the 80's.

Hot........stinkin' hot.
Been kissing 100° since Sunday.
Storms coming tomorrow to cool this crap down.

Don't like mega heat......I am Canadian after all. :toothy10:
