Well folks...
I'm off for a five day stretch up to my trailer.
Beers, barbeque, and staring at the lake in a beer hazed stupor.
Behave yourselves while I'm gone.... :toothy10:

Back Tuesday....

Have a safe and good weekend. I think me and the wife are gonna go to the casino this weekend to win some money. Either way we always split it regardless who wins. So I like going Lol.

My free 35 footer with AC & heat - both working. The pushouts are on the other side. Just far enough to "get away" from nagging. Close enough to get back to sanding on the coupe. Now if that rain would just let up.

Well I did indeed have a great time at the trailer.
That is till I came back.....
Halfway home in the middle of buttf**k Ontario my fuel pump called it quits.
So my wife, her friend and I along with my Fifth Ave got a ride home with a CAA flatbed.....

Well, look on the bright side: Of all the things that could go wrong with the car, at least it's an inexpensive, easy fix. Much better than, oh, having an axle shaft walk out and pass you going down the highway to start a life of its own somewhere new.

Very true.
The only drag was being in the middle of nowhere.
Even asked the flatbed driver if he had one.
The towing company does towing for CAA but are also a garage a few miles away.....the answer of course was....
Nope.....gotta order it in.
And no boneyards around either or I would have shot the guy $50 to drive me there and let me pull one of anything with a carbed 318......no go there either.....oh well.....shit happens.
You can bet I'll be adding that to my spare parts list to keep in my trunk....new pump is in tomorrow....you have to order everything now. The days of them being in stock up here are gone.

As far as the driveshaft....I fully agree.....that would suck.
Coincidentally...a few weeks ago I saw a guy on the shoulder missing a rear wheel.........then I passed the wheel about a quarter mile down the road.....now THAT'S a bad day.

Yup cant find many parts for our cars in stock anymore

Nope.....not anymore.
They're all full of new crap now.
I'm hoping Napa holds out for a while or else I'm gonna have to get shafted on shipping and border fees and get everything from Rock and Summit.
