How is the progress? I just scored a super sweet deal, and might "upgrade"...lol...just scored a fully rebuilt 2010 5.7 out of a challenger complete from engine cover to oil pan to manifolds with wiring harness, coils, injectors...COMPLETE for $700..it suffered the dreaded timing chain failure...so it has the updated parts, new pistons, rods, heads...etc...so I think I am going to upgrade to VCT, drop in a 392 cam and non mds lifters and call it a day. Now to sell all my other hemi stuff..lol...hmmmm...my parts would liven up yours pretty good...some eagle heads, xfi 273 cam...lol

I was away from the project for the last two weeks, so not that much progress there. I'll be back at it this weekend. It shouldn't be long now. Sounds like you have a nice project to start on! I thought about "livening up" my project a little, but I think that will have to wait for phase two, maybe next year. I'm sure I could squeeze a supercharger in there somewhere!

So, I just remembered I promised to share my real world experience with the AlterKtion front end. It has been a little more than two years, and a little over 8000 miles so far. I realize this is not a long time, and not a lot of miles for a street car, but it should be noted that I drive the shit out of this car. So far, I have had no issues with the suspension. The car handles like a modern sports car and stops on a dime. Whenever I have the car on the lift, I inspect the suspension parts for wear/damage, and so far I have found none. I do grease everything somewhat frequently, but otherwise have not had to fix/replace anything. Kudos to Bill Reilly!
