I cut the grass, and leaves, today in long pants, sweatshirt, stocking cap and gloves................Got plenty of sun (on my face, lol). Totally, completely, 100% dead nuts clear again today. The sky is about the deepest blue I've seen in a long time. Only low 50's though and a NW breeze (brrrrrrrr).

As soon as there are ice drifts, they'll be on the other side of the fence in no time.
They're still south of Churchill and north of North Bay.

It rained here for 32 hours straight with no break. How do I know it didn't stop at night? They said on TV it didn't, that's how. lol
Finally stopped late yesterday afternoon and the clouds went away by 5:30, just in time to see the sun for about 10 minutes and then it disappeared below the horizon. Typical............ Nice and clear today, supposed to only get to upper 50's though. What are you going to do, that's an average high for this time of year.

The polar bear tracker still shows 550 miles N/W.
I'm sure yesterdays hurricane stopped the southbound movement.

Glad I got some fall leaf pics before the trees where stripped.

What a turn around from yesterday! Bright blue 99% clear sky, wind speed of maybe 1 mph and 56 degrees right now (1:45pm). Can't ask for any better on Oct 25th in north central Wisconsin. I mean, 80 would be better of course but this time of year,,,,,,we'll take the 56!

With the goofy roller coaster weather, we never really had any fall color. Tress mostly went from green to brown and then bare. There was some orange, yellow, red, and purple but even that lasted about 2 days and then,,,,,,,,,,,gone. Not sure if it was lack of rain, the really warm then really cold, back to really warm or what. Up until the last couple days where it rained steady (but only dropped not even 1/2") we'd hadn't gotten even an inch of rain since Sept 19th. Man, that'd be great if it stayed that way all winter! You know, hardly any snow?
