Got up to 82 today with off and on storms. Nasty stuff 50-100 away to the NNW and North of here like tornadoes, mega severe t-storms, etc Looks like it'll miss this area but where it's going through I heard there's tons of damage, 10,000 without power, all the good stuff. So far all we have is a tornado watch and dang is it ever humid out. Still 79 degrees and 85%. Very strange. I blame the North Korean's.
In the 80's today and the forecast shows rain and MAYBE 50 degrees on Saturday. WTF? ACtually the forecast shows rain every freaking day for at least the next 7 days. Guess the car better get comfortable in the garage

We've keep going from highs in the low 80's to highs in the low 60's. Today was one of those. It was frigging cold this morning, heavy overcast, 50 degrees and a 10-25 mph north wind. However, it didn't rain (for once)!!!!!!!!. The next few days though, look to be mostly sunny, NO RAIN and around 80 degrees. Did I mention NO RAIN?

The total precip from Jan 1st to date is the highest ever, since they started keeping track about 1880. If it didn't rain or snow the entire rest of the year, we would end up close to the yearly average precip. Yes, it sucks big time. We are so sick of rain around here.........................................

Last week we had 6 inches of rain.
This week its 101 with 10 degree heat index.
On Sunday, more rain.

Its August and the grass in the medians and bar ditches is green and 2 foot or taller. Crazy weather. We are going to get 3 cuttings of hay this year.

Eight miles south of us they've had over 36 inches of rain so far in 2017, normal is 32

Here at my house (8 miles further north), we've had 48 inches of rain - normal is 32.

We still have 4 1/2 months to go ... I'll bet we wind up with 60 inches of rain this year. Crazy.

One thing I don't like is, the day light is getting shorter, and shorter, and shorter. Less time to get things done outside in the evening. Barely past 7:30 and poof, the sun is gone and by now (just past 8pm) it's almost pitch black out already. Seems the summer, if you want to call what we've had so far this year summer, is going by way too fast. Next thing I know, I'll get to work at 7:30am and it'll be pitch black out and when I leave work at 4:30pm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it'll be pitch black out. Sigh....................................:(

Finally some rain in the forecast for tomorrow night. Yeah. Actually looking forward to it to clear some of the forest fire smoke particles from the air. No measurable rain for 2 and a half months and everything is tinder dry. They even closed all the local parks for fear someone would spark a fire accidentally.

This is something all too rare this year,,,,,,,,,,bright blue sky and not a cloud in sight(!) Was kind of nipply earlier (only 48 degrees) but it's quickly heading for the forecast high near 80, then,,,,,,,,,,,,back to the 40's tonight and 80 again for Sunday. It's almost too good to be true!

Here's some typical f***** up Wisconsin weather. Just heard the forecast and it calls for a high of 55 tomorrow with thunderstorms (T-storms in Dec????) and then tomorrow night,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,snow and a high Tuesday of 24. Seriously?

It's the end of the world as we've known it here. Even at 8:30 it's still 56 degrees. Last night it rained so hard it wasn't even funny, then had random t-storms and down pours all day. By tomorrow morning it'll be in the low 20's and stay there, winds of 25-40 mph with 50+ gusts, wind chills below zero, and then lows in the single digits, highs of barely 20 for at least through next Monday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know when you get tired of that funky world up there , you can come south to spend time here.
The hog traps have been baited and I bought new AR 15s just in case.
The propane tank is full in case it gets cold (that is-- below 50)
If you want to practice rebuilding a shower, I've nearly got all the tile off the walls in the big bathroom. Just need to pull the strand board and put it all back together.

Fun, comfort, and project --- with no rain or snow...
Course your commute for work would suck.

LOL, yeah there is that 1,200 mile commute, each way.

After all the t-storms last night, the temp dropped like a stone. Fast enough that everything got frozen solid. Maybe 20 degrees today which wouldn't be SO bad but that wind,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that bleeping NW wind that just doesn't know when to quit. Roughly 25-40 mph, gusts over 50 and windchill below zero.:(:(:(:(
