The cooler in the photo is mounted in the worst possible orientation. More of an air collection chamber.

All the radiators and coolers aren't going to work unless there is a path for it after the radiator.

That cooler will work fine there, ive ran a B@M super cooler (has its own fan) there for almost 10 years on an F and it stays cool and ive never heard the cooling fan kick on, temp gauge stays low and my vert makes alot of heat.

I don`t see a issue with the cooler either. It looks plenty big enough.

I think he was meaning dont mount it with the in/out pointed down. Mine said not to but I did and kept a close eye on it at first but never had a issue.

I'm starting the final phase of stripping a 78 R/T. If anyone is looking for sheetmetal let me know. If it's available I will let you know. I am taking it apart at the welds. I also have a complete 80 Volare front end which includes the grill
