Looks like it was a nice car, but I don't like either set of wheels. White ones look like they belong on a truck, the others just look stupid. But, I guess there are all sorts of people with all sorts of dreams.

Your's is MUCH nicer Bruceynz!
What the bleep with the 30" chrome wheels? Egad. OY is right, the white spokes look fine on a truck,,,,,,,NOT a car. Had them on my old '81 D150 I owned until 1998, and they looked fine.

I used to say the exact same thing.:p

I have given up on comparing bb and sb and all I say now is it goes good for a 360 or goes good for a 440 there is just no other way to compare, if comparing 351, 350 and 360 then game on!

Does a 408 stroker go as good as a 400 bb who cares they both do what they can do, one just smaller physical size, they achieve cubic capacity in diffetent ways. Die hard bb'er and sb'er will never agree.

Yeah but you can't make a small block go to 500 cid, heh-heh-heh:p Mine only became a BB 30 years ago because of something said jokingly, and then everyone told me it couldn't be done, it would never fit, it'll never work, (never tell me never, lol) so I had no choice but to do it. Ha, showed them!:D

There's something about putting the trans in third gear ( manual valvebody ) stabbing the throttle and smoking the tires for as long as you can keep the car going strait that you just can't do with your little blocks.:)

Hehe, I'm sorry. It's all in good fun. Watch him use this thread as his motivation to turbo that small block of his and show us up.

When I saw this picture, my eyes popped out. I agree the other wheels are for a pickup, but will fit/work fine (other than looking out of place). these wheels, um, err, NO.

Then there's the added irony of those rubberband tires costing 3 times as much while only containing 1/3 the rubber.

Being an auto tech, I feel bad for the poor guy that has to mount those things on the wheels with the 1 inch tall sidewalls. It's bad enough doing, for example, 285/35ZR-20's (trust me) and those have tall, flexible sidewalls compared to the cartoon tires on that Cordoba.

I've got a neighbor with a Caprice and the big wheel thin tires on it, it has been sitting for over a year because he hit something with the rt front wheel and drove it home. What a mess and he can't find a wheel to match.

Those wheels can barely take an expansion joint without bending. The 1" sidewall with absolutely no give makes it even worse. "Oops, accidentally ran over a pebble in the road, now the wheel is junk"

I think those wheels are junk before you hit the pebble in the road.
