That mesh for open carb is nice to have. A neightbour here did had some problem with his ducati. One bolt was coming lose and sucked into the intake. Luckely it get stuck between intake valve and port and with crank engine to try thing running. Should be some rushed installation work/just forgotten to tighten by the guy he bought the bike.

That baby puts the sports in cars for sure. Its the true definition of sports car, probably worth ten times that much!!!!!!!
It appreciates in value every passing minute and mile driven

That appears to be a VERY darn nice car. I'm with you, he can keep the bikes. I suppose the idea is buy the package, keep what you want and sell the rest or something like that.

If the whole package is $21K, buy it, sell the Harleys, and keep the Magnum.

I can do without the Starsky & Hutch over the roof stripe, but the rest of the car is great, and I love Magnums, especially T-Top versions.

Way back in the early '80's, a friend of mine owned a '78 Magnum GT, black with red interior with only a small amount of rot in the lower 1/4's. I loved the way that car looked. No idea what ever became of it. He sold it and it vanished off the face of the earth.

I really like them when they are off, however its not my car and just like the south of the boarder cars are different because the culture is different, Europe is not only a world away it seems on the map but its also very different culturally.

I don't like the headlights either. It just does not fit the vehicle, maybe for a VW golf or something similar.

There is a notice difference here from country to country, even from area where norms and values can already differ considerably. The same is that every region has its own language or dialect. But that will probably also be the case with you on the other side of the lake.

Concerned cars appreciate majority of originality of the cars.
But what you encounter more often is a certain 'Ratlook'. Even for middle-aged cars that are already heading for scrapping. Jump the grinding wheel over the car and weld a few plates here and there.
But I like the platina look of the weathered paint on older cars like pickups. Here they spray clear varnish to stop the further rust and still look old.

Heh-heh. In Wisconsin you don't have to do a darn thing to get that look other than drive it in the winter. Give it a few years and POOF, instant rat rod patina, only way more extreme.:p
