Well, time for a couple updates.

Upper Control Arms for the SC300 subframe showed up. They only cost me $45.

Rear Suspension parts arrived. (Haven’t ordered shocks yet. Or swaybar)

And, started welding practice with Fluxcore.

It didn’t turn out too bad. If it’s clear/dry in the morning I’m going to give the 6011 rods that I bought awhile ago a try.

I’ve got some welding coupons on the way, and I’m going to practice some more on Saturday. My intention is to (finally) start on installing the connectors on Sunday.

Got the connectors trimmed to their initial lengths. Since I have Wednesdays off, plus Turkey Day this Thursday, and Sat/Sun, I’m pretty confident I’ll have the connectors installed by this time next week.

Also….steering column is now out, as well as the Automatic Brake Pedal assembly. Power Brake Booster is also out too.

And the steering column is on the operating table for it’s surgery, for the Electric Power Steering unit that was liberated from a Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ.

Well, that confidence never happened.
I couldn’t bring myself to start cutting into the car.

Sold the car last night. I’m done with the F/J/M-body platform. I’ll figure things out later on, probably after I get therapy or something.

It’s been fun guys.

I saw your car for sale on Facebook. If you're not having fun, then its time to move on. I dumped a Volvo 240 project a few years ago. Turns out the guy I sold it to couldn't make it work either and he dumped it. Now a third guy will probably give up on it too.

Sometimes a project just crosses the line into the realm of f--k this shit

Thanks guys. I do feel better about it, because the new owner is going to take it drag racing with his brother who has a ‘79 Diplomat too.

I’ll post the rear suspension parts that I’ve accumulated for sale tomorrow.

UPDATE:
Suspension parts "for sale" thread is now up.
FOR SALE - 8.75/B/E-body rear suspension conversion parts.

I'm going to keep the Hemi, finish rebuilding it, and find a Dakota or D100/D150 to stick it in because I didn't realize how much I'd need a truck again until lately.
