The steel tube from my fuel sender is cracked and spewing fuel. Can't find one new in the obvious places - RockAuto doesn't have them! What other cars would have a compatible fuel sending unit?

Alright... got the new check valves (plugged) in and, although it's not attached, something "like" an air-switching valve in place - picked up another diverter valve from a Cordoba and it's a place holder. I'm still not sure what it does but the car is running now and seems to be okay. Already...

"Old" is a relative term... Poor thing is on ice at the moment as some part of the smog system blew up (in a gruesome fashion) and I haven't had a chance to get to a junkyard and pick off something to replace it! Also... Miraphone 188 CC!

Yeah - it's pretty spectacular. Perhaps I can find one of these at the boneyard. Any ideas why this might have happened? I had noticed that the junction between the front hose and the 'air switching valve' seemed a little weak - there may have been some moisture in there or something.

Thanks Bud - big help in any event and I appreciate it. I was hoping the picture was of the weird orange grommet thing on the end of the wiper motor. The repair kit has a bunch of pieces and it's not clear to me what order they go in... the old ones are in pieces!

Sounds like you scored a pretty good deal. I have been unable to find one for anything reasonable. Would you believe that all of the A body manuals through about 1973 are out there as free PDFs?!
