WANTED torsion bars and / or bar ends.

Wow. I scored a set from Japan and received them last week. They were 9000 yen , which sounds scary. But it was about 88.00 U.S. , shipped. Now , I get to split them and put the urethane bushings in. But I was damned lucky to find them.

You're going to have to be more specific I think. Mine isn't , but I'm not sure who you are trying to message.

    WANTED torsion bar bushing kit.

Were they greasable ? Firm Feel's are and that may make a difference. I also have a set of PST's laying around. I wish it was going to be a race car............I could do a lot of things differently that would work. But this one is going to see a lot of street miles.

    WANTED torsion bar bushing kit.

I already added my voice to the choir. I have no idea what their threshold is for making more , but I suspect it will need to be in the hundreds at least. Hopefully , it will happen. There are still a lot of those cars running around.

WANTED torsion bars and / or bar ends.

I'm still bouncing options , and haven't ruled this out. But the ones I have are too rusty to be saved , so I am exploring plan A , B and C. I have a set under the car , which is from Indiana and shouldn't be as bad. But the ones in the V-8 k member I am going through are rough. The ends are...

I spoke with them at ECS today...............they can't find any in the U.S. either. I have a line on an NOS set that might materialize in a day or two.............if I can grab a third , it is yours Volare77. But they are definitely not easy to come by.

WANTED torsion bars and / or bar ends.

I will have to let you know in a couple days. I have a couple irons in the fire for new ends , which has been a long and strange trip in itself. But the price is fair enough. I have new poly bushings I plan on using , and haven't pinned down what they will be attached to just yet. Thanks.

    WANTED Torsion bars

From a southern car ? I have a set that are very rusty under the bushings , and especially the right mounting bushing. Bad enough that I don't think they should be used. fiberglass bumpers

Run , screaming from Showcars. It took them nearly a year to deliver a hood for my 1965 Dart. It took so long that I found one from a private party , bought it because I was sick of waiting , and that bumper got here the day after the one from Showcars. Difference being , the one I bought from...

Can't thank you enough for the tip , Volare 77. I had no idea how difficult finding parts for these would be , but so far , I have been pretty lucky. Late B body k member to body mounts solved that riddle , and you helped me find the last piece I needed to go through the V-8 K member I plan on...

    Driveshaft Purchase Place 8.75/904

Get your measurement and call Strange. They are not as expensive as you might think , their turn around is plenty quick and you are getting the good stuff. Send them your trans yoke to balance. They don't sell a 904 Yoke , so I had to send them my Mark Williams piece when they built my first...

    Hunting season humor...........

There was this fellow , he one day decided that he wanted to go hunting. Not exactly sure of what game he might encounter , he simply outfitted himself with some camo clothes and bought a rifle that was on the big side for varmints and a little small for say a Cape Buffalo. He went traipsing...

Rear suspension options for an F body wagon ?

I appreciate your input gentlemen. I could certainly weld a pair of spring sliders back there. I puzzled over this very issue , and wrote down the various spring segment lengths. I think the S/S springs all used a 20 " front spring segment if what I read is accurate , so the 2" longer hangar...

Rear suspension options for an F body wagon ?

I have an '80 Volare wagon that is getting a 408 " stroker motor and 727 up front. I am looking at just re-doing the front suspension with stock parts and adjustable shocks. In back , I am still on the fence. I have a nearly new set of 002 - 003 Super Stock leafs and I think they could be made...

    F BODY ROLL BAR

Rear bars like to be above upper rear shock mounts. That is optimum. Not always practical , but that is where they are most beneficial. I am assuming you mean rear bars , and not the diagonals that go to the floor or sub frame connector in a more or less straight line with the main hoop base.
