LSM360,great info! Was ready to bolt on the exhaust manifolds which honestly I didn’t mind doing to simplify things but when a few of the guys here on the forum commented that my 400 horse engine could lose up to a 100 horsepower and would choke out my engine badly I had second thoughts about...

Cam is pretty high lift 575/575, mopar purple..so what you are saying I’m going to turn a nicely put together set up for an engine and choke it out completely, not good…didn’t think the manifolds would kill it that bad, ok convinced that the header route is the only way to go..guys, thanks for...

The 318 that’s in the car right now has exhaust manifolds which run into a nice dual exhaust system with flow master mufflers,so if I put the manifolds on the 360 everything should bolt right up for an easy job is what in thinking..actually the manifolds with the flow masters sound terrific..the...

    318 upgrades

    318 upgrades

hello all,Jim here..where I’m at with my 318 today is where a lot of you were at 25 years ago..I have a 1971 318 engine that runs great,I know it has low compression somewhere in the 8:6:1 range..as of this time I’m going to leave the pistons down in the hole and live with the compression that...

Finally made the switch to Mopar

Hey 531, Jim here..my car has a 8 3/4 with 323s and the 1St thing I did this week was pick up a complete center section ready to drop in with 391s..I figured that would be the biggest bang for the buck to get the pretty much stock 318 moving along a little quicker.. I know the most logical thing...
