I don't know bud. Everything on my cluster works except the Speedo. I think there's a problem with the gear in the trans too, but when I spin the Speedo by hand the odometer doesn't work either due to an issue with the gears in it. I do know that my car has an 85mph gauge, but I don't know if...
Just need a working Speedo and odometer. 85 or 100mph, doesn't matter. Just let me know. Cheaper the better obviously, but it would help to be legal for a change :-)
I second Jim as a great seller. Bought a couple of trim pieces from him.... He was super helpful while USPS managed to confuse my house and got me my parts as fast as possible. Big thanks to him and I'd recommend him to anyone.
Hey bud, just realized you posted that chrono here! I'm gonna wait on that being that I didn't know I would have to cut my dash panel to fit it. What condition is the Speedo and is it functional? Maybe a price? The odometer quit on mine and I don't think I can repair.
Thanks again
Just did a little research on that... Looks simple enough! Can you explain exactly where I'm supposed to drill? There aren't any pictures on the A body site as to how to do it... just how they DID it..
THanks again!
I've got a 77 Volare 4 door. Not an original two tone car, but I'm working on some custom paint ideas and I prefer to have colors separated by a trim piece.
Thanks in advance!
i just recently saw what the bumper brackets look like. I think I have a good idea of what I'll need to do.
In the mean time, here's an example of what I was talking about.
Oh, and I don't mind a little overhang
Thanks for the advice guys!
I'm looking for the chrome (or aluminum) trim that goes on the c-pillar to separate two tones or vinyl tops.
Let me know if you know where to find it!
Thanks!
So I just bought this Volare a week ago and noticed the horn didn't work. Got to looking around and realized the the horn wire was unplugged at the horn and the relay was missing completely! This led me to believe at some point or another the horn got stuck on.. Well, after a little...
I'd really prefer not to do anything that I can't undo to the car. That's why I'm looking for the blocks. I can always uninstall. I just moved back here from a tour in Germany and I don't really know the junkyard scene where I'm going so I try and do things that I can revert back to original...
Does anyone know where to get lowering blocks for the rear of my 77 Volare? Either that or a decent measurement so that I can try and hunt down some for another model? I just want to lower the car a little. It just sits way too high for my taste.
Thanks in advance
Has anyone ever tucked the rear bumper forward on their F Body? I don't like how far out it sits and would rather do away with the filler panels. I haven't had a chance to check out the brackets, but I can't imagine it would be all that hard.
Thanks in advance
