Modoba went 14.1 with 2.21 gears and a mild 360. Thru the traps in 2nd gear at 4800 rpm, 96 mph.

i added some parts to the 360'' to make it faster. i shaved the heads .060'' or .80'', can't remember but it was a lot. i put in a Comp Cams solid lifer cam, somewhere in the 560-570 lift with 1.6 ratio rockers. street dominator intake, and 750 holley. still had the 3.55 gears. it ran 13.2. only did 2 passes with that combo. it would have run 12's if i did more then 2 passes.
with that 360 block, i stroked it out to 410''. i had eddie heads cnc from hughes engines and one of there solid cams. 626'' lift with the 1.6 ratio rocker. 9.1 comp, super victor intake, 950 pro systems carb. 3800 stall, and same 3.55 gears. it ran 12.05. i needed more compression to make those big heads work. i haven't taken any weight out of my R/T, 3800 lbs.

I would expect better than 17 flat with that combination. Good luck and keep us updated after you've made the change.
