Hi everyone, I have a 5th ave that believe it or not was a Drag Car !! 318 is Gone, I am Using the front disc brakes for my 64 ( Why I bought the car) But it has a:
-Pair of 318 Headers and Collectors,Header Mufflers, some 3" pipe I believe and a single Raptor Muffler
-904 Trans that is still in it, I know nothing about, With Tourque Converter
-a 7 1/4 rear end I know nothing about,
and still some decent Body Parts But Hood,Trunk, & Rear Doors have had the supports torched out....
- front end,
-rear end sheetmetal & Trim.
-front door panels
-( Blue ) dash,
-Visors, -
Seatbelts,
-Rear seat Blue,
-floor mats Blue,
-Trunk Latch ( Sold)
-Power Brake Booster- & Master Cyl
- K Member
-Steering Column
Ask about anything, and i'll check to see if its there....

That's a 7 1/4. They changed in the 80s to that squared off cover and axle tubes that shrink towards the middle.

I'm looking for the grommets that are on the door wiring harness where it goes through the door jamb. There is a round one at the cowl and a square/rectangle one in the door.

I am not as familiar with the smaller rearends as I run 8 3/4 on my other cars.
It does appear to be a 7 1/4 like you said.

A person might have to toss a known-good battery into the car to test the power antenna motor. When car is turned on and radio is on, it should go up by itself. When car (or radio) is turned off, the antenna retracts.

Hey,
They are there and in good shape. I'll remove the door panel tomorrow, and pull the wiring gently back thru, and remove them carefully as I can. I'll shoot you a pic once they are out.

Looks like it. There is no Battery or Radio in the car, so I'll look at it, and see how it comes off, and figure out how to test it...
