In my neck of the woods: short lines at FedEx and long long long lines at USPS (which is not even considering the problems after it crosses the border).

I can vouch for that! I've been waiting for delivery of a new toy for OY that was posted on November 11th in Canada, and it hasn't even made it out of the country yet. I could have walked up there and picked it up myself by now. :confused:
 
Its been 2 1/2 weeks since I got sick, but I'm definitely on the road to recovery.
Hubby is about 4 days behind me.
One more 150 mile trip today for doctor visit and I'm done!
Finally got internet service back after 3 days. What did I ever do without it at home??

DerekB sent his gift to me and I've already received it. Will open and post pictures later.
I'll be shipping my package out tomorrow...

If you haven't mailed your package, you need to mail it this week to get it to its destination by Christmas... hopefully.

How the heck did I miss the staff meetings? Shows how much I pay attention sometimes, never noticed this until just now.:confused: Well, maybe next year.:)
Merry Christmas to all and I can't believe it's less than a week away already. How time flies when you're having fun.
More importantly, 4 more days until we start going back the other way on day light. This start work at 7:30 am in the dark and leave work at 4:30pm in the pitch black is getting REALLY old.:(
 
Just think in 8 days it will only be 365 days until Christmas!!!
 
Finally I got my boxes mailed out today.
Of course, I forgot and left one at home that has to go to Michigan for family. Sigh.
Got all the others out except for the one I'm sending Billy.

Two days ago, something happened to the cookies I baked.
They were there when I went to sleep.
Only 2 were there when I woke up.
My husband is trying to convince me that I am sleep walking and eating them while I'm sleep walking.... I'm thinking that is NOT the problem.

Tomorrow its supposed to be a cool day, so I'll bake more.

So Billy, your cookies should get there before New Years...
