Going Dana 60, so here it is: axle was originally out of a 1966 B body. 489 case with 4.10 gears and SG. The housing has had the perches cut off and rewelded 1/8" further out to match the factory F/J/M perch width. It was popular to take these axles and drop them in as is by forcing the springs inboard. I never liked that and had it done right. Comes with a pinion snubber and it complete drum to drum. The drums are OK, but will need new brakes. This axle will bolt right into place and is already setup for ISO delete.

Probably has 25k on it since the rebuild in 2007. It does howl a little under acceleration and has since new. The shop that put it together said something about new gear sets doing that. Feel free to pull it apart for inspection.

Will not ship. Make me a reasonable offer.

I'm in no particular hurry to be honest. we could turn it into an F/J/M meet of sorts. I know a few local guys. Brews and steaks.

I would love to take it off of his hands – but it is a 2,200 mile round trip for me.

4.10 still available? Would you consider selling just the centersection? Need a taller gear for my a-body! If not i understand. In Clinton Twp. just south of ya!! Thankyou.

I've got one guy I'm waiting on a deposit from - haven't heard from him though in a little while. If that falls through it's up for grabs. Don't really want to sell it without the housing though as I would have nothing to do with it or even somewhere to keep it. Let me know...

Mark, I'm set as far as gearsets go, but another housing (especially one that's already done right) can't hurt...so you up for V24x2 picking up the gears and me grabbing the housing?

That'll be a good fallback, sure. I got a guy sending me a deposit though on the entire setup and wants to pick it up in two weeks. As soon as I get the deposit I'm going to mark the axle sold. If it falls through I'll give you the housing as trade for the torque converter if you want.
