That was not a ’66 or 67 Charger parts car. It might be now – but most of the sought-after parts are still there.

Yes, it was a shame. There was another old Mopar there too - a '59 Desoto. Also just left to rot. At one time, it would have been a beautiful old Golden Girl. I had these "mechanics" do a bit of work to OY when I first got it. Supposedly they are "Mopar guys" but, I won't bother to say what I think of their work, or their attention to their cars.

Here's some pics of a very sad Charger from the same vintage. It was in back of a local shop sitting for years. I don't know a lot about it, except that one of the owners of the garage had bought it "for parts" years before. It was probably a 318, or maybe a 383. At one time, it would have been a really nice looking blue Charger. I'm not sure if it's still there anymore, but I wouldn't doubt it. It wasn't going anywhere fast.

Not a big fan of that body style , but still a shame it's rotting away.

It said that it was inspected by ASE techs, it never said anything about whether it passed saiD inspection. I`m sure it comes with a recommended list of all the the things they are willing to have the techs fix for you at REASONABLE price. LOL

The French have a gift for designing the ugliest cars in the entire world. I mean seriously, do they think their cars are even remotely good looking? They make the Pontiac Aztek look good.

Thanks for bringing that memory back, not! I remember when those things were everywhere. The ugliest were the ones that said "LeCar" in giant letters down the sides. They didn't seem to be what you would call long lived cars. Besides being ugly, they were complete junk. Five years old and the rust was so bad they would literally break in half. Not joking about that either.

That would be Saltconsin there Iowa boy;) In the LeCar's defense, I've already seen as new as 2014 (Silverado) in the shop with rust holes over the rear wheel opening already.

Local CL. Says he's "done some customizing to the exterior". OK, if that's what he wants to call what he did, who am I to say otherwise? lol My guess is the black customizing on the rear wheelwells is rattle can black over the bondo he used to "fix" the rust holes.
