So you know my Mister died last year. Finally 16 months later I’m getting things figured out.

I’ve donated a lot of his clothes but am realizing I’ve kept too many that are nearly reminders of a different season of my life.

So I’m going through everything again with more determination to send them to better homes.

I have some questions.

I have two old army jackets provided by Uncle Sam during the Vietnam war. His in a lifetime before me. As are the jackets he had tailor made from leather while he was overseas.

do I just donate to homeless. Is there someone on here living in the north that might want them? They are too good to throw out but I only need a Few jackets and I must have 10 or more.

And I have a walls blizzard proof insulated work coveralls. Yes I could wear them but they are too long in the torso for me. Surely one of you guys needs a 2xl. Maybe I should raffle it to one of you for Xmas.

I’ve already donated most of the tshirts and jeans but for some reason I’m having a hard time with these last 30 items or so

I’ve also decided once I get the 87 fifth avenue fuel pump replaced I’m going to sell it and just keep the 79 LeBaron. So I’ll be wanting to get another car out of here.

All his shoes I’ve thrown away since he had that awful toenail fungus.

I’m keeping the guns and the fishing equipment. I’m not totally ditzy about this. lol

Just sold the burnt tractor a week ago and have the mahindra purring like a kitten now. Probably should say a tiger cause that’s more manly for a tractor comparison.

Most of his contemporaries don’t need this stuff cause they’ve aged out of being outside as much. My age group and younger has wives wondering why I want to give clothes to their husband so that’s out.

I’m just sitting here looking at all this and getting nowhere this afternoon.

Today’s goal is to just put maybe five things back in the closet and put the rest in a pile to regift or donate.

This seemed like a much smarter idea this morning

Army jacket I’m thinking VFW might know someone in need otherwise advertise it it’s a collectible someone will pay up for it and the leather ones also.

what size are the Army Jackets? if they are green and are of the "M65" variety. people will pay a pretty penny for authentic M65 Jackets

not the M65 as far as I can tell.
I've found a couple of homes for most of the jackets, so its all good.

thanks for checking in.
