What do I need to pay attention to other than the usual. I'm not to familiar with the Mirada's?

Very nice!
Looks like it's in beautiful shape.
Not sure if there's anything Mirada specific to look for.

Nice color combo! Yup, the northwest is the last hide-out for clean old cars.

take whatever you end up paying for it, subtract 10-20% and tell her it was too good of a deal to pass up. works every time.

Didnt miss a beat in the 135 mile trip home. Four flippin' hours of Seattle/Tacoma stop and go traffic.

Wow! That half vinyl top looks really nice! And that's one of the nicest looking color combos I've seen.

Were the engine bays of these cars black? I guess I never noticed that before. Or was that repainted once before? Doesn't matter about your car, it looks great, I'm just wondering in general.

I believe they should be the body color. It was done by the PO. Not a bad job mind you. The black doesnt stand out as bad with the color he painted the body. Of course it will have to be redone.

She's good with it. Just says it looks old and asked me how till I take it apart. Not this one I said, not yet least wise.

However, first order of business will be a Performer Intake/625cfm Street Demon swap. I already have the 4bbl kickdown linkage in-route from ebag.

Yeah, that's what I thought. To me, it looks fine, not worth messing with unless you had the entire car torn apart anyway. That's why I had to ask, because it looked so "factory" even though I thought it wasn't. At least they did a good job with it. But if you do it, all the better, I'd just be thrilled to death to have a Mirada that nice! Excellent find, I'm very jealous!
