In my opinion, it is over priced. I can only judge from local prices, but my 1981 CMX with 83,000 KM (=50,000 miles, give or take), almost fully loaded (has regular air conditioning vs. Temperaure controlled air conditioning, but I have the rear amplifier option, which I understand is not common) with a 318 4BBL, was $CAN1200 (around $US900), and I got a set of steel whees with Mirada hubcaps and a set if 10 spokes thrown in as part of the deal. The advertised car has better paint, and paint/bodywork (looks like something fell on the driver’s side fender and dented the top of the fender and the hood where the center section rises up near the middle of the hood) on mine would need aboou $CAN3500-4000 to fix the dent, a few very small rust spots, and a repaint. The interior on my car is in better shape, most likely. So, my car would come out to be $CAN5200, at max. That works out to be about $US4000. He was asking twice that.
