Thanks! The area above the bench light was essentially dead space anyhow, so it seemed like a perfect solution. Those are welded assemblies, too, so $4 amounted to about 14 square feet of now-available floor space. :eusa_dance:
 
pulled the door trim off, I think it looks a little tidier without it, debating if I want to leave the gills or not.

the paint on the trunk emblem was looking a bit spotty, so I soda-blasted that off.

they defiantly look better without the door gaurds
if you pull the fender grilles off there will be 4 holes you'll have to fill, but I see you got some body work to do anyhow

heres mine after body and paint, I removed the door gaurds and the fender grilles as the left side was broken. the wheel well trim will be goin back on, just gotta go through all mine and fine the best ones after we finish the paint of course
