Random Pics

Hit $2.04.9 per liter here today. It`s amazing how when it gets close to summer that between the one refinery near here and the two in Washington state that there is always maintenance issues and shutdowns for one reason or another. Then we get the price spikes and the oil companies saying that "Oh No It`s Because Of Supply And Demand. There Is More Demand Than Supply"If You want some free advice, then invest in oil companies and banks because neither one of those groups are ever going to go broke like we are.

Remember how they'd jack the price up every time they feared a hurricane was coming?

Thats one long truck
Yeah, MegaCabs only came with a 6’ bed, so I did my own LongBed conversion. I cut the frame rails right above the rear axle, unbolted the front bolt of the leaf springs, rolled everything back as an assembly 20.5”, slid 2”X5” .25 thick rectangular steel tubing into the factory 10awg ( roughly 1/8” thick) frame. Drank some beer, welded her back up, set the pinion angle, moved the carrier bearing back 20.5” and had a new front drive shaft made. Normal people are doing an oil change at 3000 miles, I cut the truck in half…. I also

added a ProCharger, now I got plenty of room for beer and I can get it home before it gets warm. LOL

My dissapointing random pic. The only local car show here this year, far as I'm aware, is at a Cadillac dealer over on the west side today. Otherwise they're all an hour or more away. I WAS planning on going. Pretty much typical but it hasn't rained for a month so when does it decide to rain? Yep, today. Frustrating and also typical, there's not a drop of rain in the 10 day forecast, starting with Sunday.

I say it's all typical because it seems to be the same every single time without fail.

This is the most American thing I've seen come from NY in awhile

Sicily. Italy, Europe, today. What a shitbox (besides the 3 cylinder shitbox Peugeot 108 rental we have - rarely makes 60mph at all... although there's a close Toyota Aygo made for the track, pretty capable)...

Just to let you guys and gals know. Had a.great day today on Volcano. That's a small island in the thyrrean sea, off Milazzo, Sicily, Italy.

That's a Mini Moke. I don't know its 4cyl displacement, neither do I want to know about its non-existant power... (most likely every single golf cart or lawn mower in the US has more power...)

But it was really fun, driving around the islands :D:D

Always thought some of those goofy little European cars wouldn't stand a chance here on either the city or country roads, and certainly not on any freeway, lol.

A low speed chase scene with two of these things would be right at home in an Austin Powers movie.
