Actually its a lil known secret that implement paint is great for a budget job with good results. Easy to spray as well and looks good and holds a shine if kept waxed. And very durable. I painted an old K5 blazer IH Red Enamel without hardener and it would almost self repair small stone chips. Held up till I trashed the rig.

Those actually appear to be oem factory sedan seats like a SE or Premium would have. I actually have a nice set id give away but youd have to drive halfway cross country. They would need recovered. I have the AL trim that goes on them as well.

I drove 8 hours one way to get the green seats that are in it.20230406_160502.jpg
old pic from when i did the carpet and the seats. Those premium seats look better. If i didn't have these green ones already, I'd jump on your offer. I drove to Maryland for the front header panel.

This is a really fun hobby for me. I don't take it too seriously and most of the fun is in the adventures along the way.

I had an employer ask me to paint hydraulic fork extensions so their guys could remember to retract the extensions; Can get oil based enamel to spray real smooth with a little acetone and hardener, lol

Looks to me like either the bulbs are made wrong (terminals reversed, have seen it before), or you accidentally put them in backwards. Just asking, are the new bulbs 1157?

interesting choice of color. vinyl roof painted too?
vinyl roof was mostly gone when I bought it. Just the A and C pillars had any vinyl left. i spoofed a vinyl top with black stripe paint for a bit and then went over it with the tractor paint

yup, 1157. i guess its possible to put em in upside down? i wouldn't doubt i would manage to do such a thing. just bought some new 1157s and they're less bright now

I desperately wanted a new Dodge one, I even posted a want ad here, and only a used one has popped up on ebay that I've seen and he wanted a stupid price with even stupider shipping. Someone paid the price. This Plymouth grille is in very nice shape and it was cheap.

Now it has a Plymouth grille and Plymouth taillights. And a 71 Challenger SE badge that was $10 shipped. Why? Because it's cheap and I'm sure it'll annoy someone

Lol throw some Buick taillights in it. Found myself behind an ‘80s Buick at night and couldn’t tell you the model but it had our taillights 100%

Early 80s Buick Regal always looked suspiciously the same as an M body
