Making diesel tanks. It’s been a week project to get these guy dialed in. They roll thin gauge aluminum and their plate roller is not made for it. They’re at .125” and the machines minimum is .250”; so I made it work with their material.
Don’t mind that little deflection in the center, That’s standard. They use a seam welder with hydraulic fingers that pulls that seam out real nice and smooth. The red machine in the background is the seam welder, with a tank loaded on it.
