Second Chance at a MOPAR the "BlackBird" build

We kept running out of 2 pound wire for the mig welder. Not anymore my friends, not today, or tomorrow. We went to harbor freight and split the costs on this and a Chinese slide hammer/puller set. The small ones go for $20 a piece from china mart.

Harbor Freight has really nice stuff on sale always. Half the stuff in my garage is from there. I love that place too. Make sure you get the free tape measure Lol.

late start today but as soon as the coca-cola kicks in I will be ready to weld up that passenger floor pan.

Installed the clutch master cylinder today. I used the hole that the push rod goes through I just had to open it up a little.

To allow the brake line coming off the back of the proportioning valve to clear the master cylinder I had to install a 1/4 inch spacer.

on the inside I am going to have to make and weld on a bracket once the heim joint comes from Speedway. As you can see the push rod on the master cylinder is not inline with the clutch pedal. But it is close enough to make it work with a bracket.

I looked on Fabo and i guess it is one of things.. either I have the wrong brake master cylinder i.e. a power brake master cylinder instead of a manual master cylinder...or it is the wrong push rod and will need to be replaced or shortened. I really dont like the idea of shortening and welding on a brake component....anyone have thoughts on this?

Putting exhaust on the car today... doing the things I can until the parts I ordered come in. I wanted to be able to install the interior but the clutch pedal is going to require welding so its all gotta wait. looking like september is the month that the car will breath fire again :icon_super:
