Looks cool. Does that round part at the end come off the snorkel? I have a breather like that so your pic helped me ID it.

But it doesn't have that round extension

it is connected to the fresh air "snorkal" with a flexible hose that looks a bit like what is used for a clothes dryer vent.

That's some good stuff.

Its a relief It has taken the longest amount of time and the most welding wire of all the repairs so far since gravity is working against me puiling the molten iron down. its over now. both cars have FUNCTIONAL vent boxes now and all we have to do is paint mine up and shoot some rubber coat in and its a sealed deal. tonight I am getting the dash pieces that have been clogging my room up all ready for the re-install.

Ha, Ive had my dash disasseble for a couple years. Looking at the pieces last weekend and scratching my head. The FSM has good pictures so that is a plus.

Also, how are you painting the floor pans? I was thinking about the roll on bed liner. All I had was some surface rust and painted rust bullet over it. That's how it sits now.

Thats actually exactly how we are doing it we are removing the rust from the bottom and then painting on bed liner using a can of Rustoleum bedliner come in a one quart can. we also have rubber undercoat cans.

sealing up the vent galley with paint then rubber coat today. went through all my interior pieces getting ready for install. looks like my clutch pedal is going to need a bit of custom work to mate up to the master cylinder and I have to buy a heim joint and a hyd line adapter from Speedway. looks like 20 bucks and the hyd clutch is good to go.

It rained last night so I have a box fan in the car trying to dry it out before john comes with the epoxy primer for the vent galley. it took me a little over a week to get his vent galley and floor pans finished (one day for floor pans a week for the vent galley) but they are done now so its game on for my car now!! This week is floor pans, manual hump, shifter linkage, hydraulic clutch setup, fire wall insulation, and dash assembly!! lots of work to do

I got crucified for asking which low buck V8 can spin the highest RPM. You would think that I punk slapped Jesus & killed the apostles the way some of them responded. We will get this accomplished git-eRR-done!!
