Second Chance at a MOPAR the "BlackBird" build

What exactly is OSPHO? I have another car I WILL be reconstructing (with physical help of course) and it has some rust starting I would like to clean up...
 
Sort of reminds me of the hole I cut in the other side to fill my tranny from inside instead of under. Mine is not that clean or neat...

OSPHO is a chemical you put on rusted metal or even bare metal that converts the iron oxide to iron phosphate then you paint over it. works wonders in keeping rust under control.
 
Now if we could get it to rain bacon, we would be up to our ears here in central Fl... mmmmm bacon..

Ok so next on the adgenda is my doors the passenger fender getting painted primer. nearly done with greymousers passenger quarter panel..
 
well I got half the parts I ordered today...looks like a rear brake rebuild is in my future...got belts and wheel bearings also.. all the stuff I need to make the car a safe daily driver.
 
Rich has patched up his body holes for the external trim line & has begun tackling his driver's side quarter & side windows of leaked-thru rust.

Burning the midnight oil...we are running out of time fast... I got half my quarter panel patched up and re-built my driver side drum..doing them once side at a time while I have the tires off.

I have one month before the wicked witch of the south comes back home from her sexual escapades in the Persian gulf....I have to complete body work, primer, wetsand and paint two cars black... in 30 days. It's kinda impossible. but we will see...I need a MOPAR miracle...

Look at the progress from the beginning and look at it now. You will make it. They say praying sometimes helps too Lol.
 
What you guys have accomplished just since I joined is amazing. Looks like an episode of pimp my ride or something a CREW would do... not two guys.... wow...
 
I just wish we had the blank check budget of pimp my ride...I nearly have once side of my cars exterior patching finished trying to catch back up to the Hellraisers progress. also we burned through the 10 pound reel of welding wire so we are down to the 2, one pound spools I ordered a while back... still need Allot of wire...FYI a really rusty car is always going to be more work than you bargained for...its all part of the adventure...already very proud of both cars..
