+10C and sunny in Calgary. Chinook blew in; on Monday the high was -14C during the day, -18C overnight.
Weather is nice, but my head feels like it is going to explode. When chinooks come in, the air pressure drops, and drops hard and quickly. Not being born here, my body isn't used to the rapid pressure changes, so I get headaches. They used to be far worse when I first moved here, but still, I feel it. About 6 months after I first moved here, we had a very intense Chinook come in; I couldn't walk for almost half a day due to how bad my headache was.

They're calling for windchills of -40°F here by Saturday night.

Is it summer yet?????????? Was -17 at home, 12 miles south at work it was -28 (it's ALWAYS colder down there for some reason). Got all the way up to single digits below zero his afternoon. Heat wave tomorrow, up to +17 but an 1" or so of snow predicted too, low 20's Saturday and then Sunday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a so called "high" of +1. Just shoot me now. MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're about to get pummeled apparently.
This morning and right now is just stupid totally piss you off cold. My Fifth just barely started this morning. It was so close to killing the battery that my clock reset to 12:00.
I hate this crap....

They're still saying low 20's today and then +2 for Sunday. Not so bad,,,,,,,,,,that's only 30 degrees below average. Sarcasm intended. Last evening had to clear the predicted "dusting to a trace" of snow off the driveways. I don't really call 2-3" a dusting or trace...............Wish it would either not snow (best option) or just snow half a foot. This 2-3" we keep getting isn't enough to justify getting the snowblower out and at the same time shoveling it gets old real fast. Almost worse is when the roads are dry (although white with salt dust) and then it snows 1/4",,,just enough to slop everything up again. On a quiet night, you can hear the cars rust in this state.

Got a heatwave going on here today.
17°F !!! with a windchill of 5°
They were predicting a Defcon 35 Snowmageddon death storm but it doesn't look as bad now.
Just started snowing so we'll see how bad this gets.
Here in Salt City you can actually watch the cars rust before your eyes. :hiding:
