The FMJ Weather Channel

It's always worth the trouble when they're done. For the most part it goes to schedule and is darn nice work too. We pay a combined state and federal gas tax of 53 cents/gallon and at least get our moneys worth in this state with good roads and highways.

At last, some precip. Not really rain though. It's sort of half way between rain and sleet? Nice and icy out there. The back driveway and walkway from my house to the big garage is on a slope (about 4 feet of drop in 25 feet of run). Damn near fell on my backside earlier.

I must be getting your weather on a couple hour delay, at least here ist's supposed to be in the 60s by the middle of the week.

We get our road construction done, eventually, some roads you don't even want to drive on when it's all said and done. they put a vote out for something like a .02% increase in city taxes for road repair, you can guess about how that went. now they say they'll probably fix the roads eventually, ou can tell from the way the detours, and cones get setup that it's being done by the lowest bidder.....

BEAUTIFUL ! 70's and 80's here but raining stinging "gypsy moth caterpillars" so have been avoiding outside till they finish roosting *cocooning* and I have to blow them off the eaves with the pressure washer...

Got a pretty good rain last night. Still didn't wash the salt off the roads though. Supposed to be around 65 tomorrow and t-storms possible later in the day. Sounds good except,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the forecast shows a high of 26 next Wednesday. Seriously??????????? How can it be 65 one day and then a week later be almost 40 degrees colder (with a chance of snow)? Has to be some kind of joke, a very sick joke.
I really would like that blow hard Al Gore to explain to me about this so called "global warming" again.

Because of the "inconvenient truth" of him and the other yahoos being completely full of shit they've now changed the phrase to "climate change". Imagine that!! The climate changes!

Same sort of roller coaster here. 60° or higher here by Thursday and then back to around freezing again.

All I know is.....because of the simple fact of global positioning....spring WILL come......when? Not sure.... :coffee2:

Yeah, I get a kick out of those "experts". The climate would be exactly the same if people never existed.

Hit the big 7-0 today!!!!! Kind of windy and it was a one day event but, we'll take what we can get. Why couldn't this have been Saturday? Goes back downhill again now..............nice while it lasted.

Dodged a bullet here.....
Snow east and north of here but we got rain.
Sunny and sitting right around freezing today....

We've got nice clear and sunny, and a sweltering 31 right now (10am). Heard on TV we could get 1-2" of snow tomorrow. Really?
Guess I shouldn't be surprised, got 12" of snow about 10 years ago, in the middle of May.....................and it snowed (only a trace) in maybe 2001(?) in August. One of those "summers" where the furnace runs, in the middle of the day because it's been too cold to ever shut the switch off for the season. That sucked in so many ways.

It looks so serene outside right now. Just getting light but I can see the sky is clear, there's zero wind but it's only 35 degrees. Won't last though. Forecast still shows a high of only 41, snow mixed with sleet and rain changing to rain mixed with snow this afternoon and there's also a chance of thunderstorms. What the heck, might as well get a little of everything, right?

Pretty gloomy here this morning and we have a light dusting of snow on everything.....nothing major though.
Forecast is calling for rain and or snow all week.
Judging by the temps it'll be rain.
Getting warmer all week.....they're saying 50's by Thursday.
