Think you could send just enough of that Texas heat up here to melt all the ice? The forecast here shows no hope for any melting to happen. Below freezing, mostly upper 20's, for the next 7 days and no sun. It shows sunny for today but,,,,,,,,,,all I see so far is 22 degrees and heavy overcast conditions. :(

Yeah, that would be best known as "back to our typical weather" or "how it's going to be for the next few months." We got a break for a long time, man, but break's over. Back to our regularly-scheduled frozen misery, right after a quick word from our holidays. :(

Does seem happy time is over for a while. Although, it is still above average temps and might as well say no snow so, it's not all bad! Monday morning might suck a bit however.................

Last 2 yrs we where sledding across the Great Lakes, today I just checked the temp and they are 40F and above.
So the lake water is warmer than the air temp.

Almost a 25° drop here overnight. 55° yesterday and 30° today. They're talking about freezing rain too.....and so it begins.

The snow is really piling up now. Got darn near 1/8" last night for a grand total of 3/16" on the ground, lol.
Heard some disturbing news on the radio yesterday. Something about snow starting Monday afternoon, continuing into Tuesday morning with "significant accumulation possible". Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll miss. A person can wish, right?

Still no snow in the forecast. Just rain. But it's hanging close to freezing so we'll see if we get any asphalt skating rinks.

We got snow, but it's hard to measure the amount since it moves away when the wind gusts. An eighth of an inch would be stretching it.
When that storm system hits, I should post a link to a weather radar for this area. Most likely, it'll be the usual. It's as if Moses is standing 3-5 miles west of us on US2, parting the storm around this immediate area, and it reconverges a couple of miles to the east. Fence, WI (15mi south) and Channing, MI (20mi north) both already have had a couple of pretty significant snowfalls. Here, in between the two? Sqvat!
