Slowly making some progress. Still lots to do before race season starts.
Waiting on parts is the killer. Ordered stuff in October and still haven’t received them. Very frustrating. Some parts I ordered I’m not sure I’ll even get them.

9" right? Any reason to go with that over a D60? Just curious is all. I honestly don't know.

Yes it’s a 9”.

Long story short lol
Ray (my daughters boyfriends dad) owns a speed shop called Hardcore Performance. He builds a lot of 9” for his customers. He has all the jigs to build a 9” so it was a easy choice to make.

A 9" Ford has a bearing on each side of the pinion gear, which makes it extremely strong and prevents pinion flex, correct? My memory is hazy but I should know. Worked on Ford's at a dealer from '85-'07 and some things I knew, got replaced with other data the past 15 years, lol.

Oh, almost forgot. You should be proud of those headers. That is some excellent work!

Finally got around to fitting housing under car. After measuring and remeasuring, it was time to cut.
It’s ready to weld.

I got lots done on the car today. Diff is squared in the car.
Tomorrows plan is to set ride height and get tack weld in place. Once that is complete, it can be tig welded and painted.
