It should. The Lada and Yugo are based on a late sixties Fiat design.

A late 60s Fiat design, that makes it worthy of 27K alone!

Different Fiats! The Lada, pictured, is a Russian Fiat 124. They were sold in Canada, not the USA. You didn't miss anything.

Canadian fella walks into an auto parts store. Says to the clerk at the counter "Would you have a wiper blade for a Lada?" The clerk thinks for a minute, then says "Well.. I reckon that's a fair deal..."

That's a joke son..

You will definitely be impressed. Not positively of course, but impressed none the less. More like "I am so impressed that this got DOT approved, and that somebody actually tried to sell these".

I'd rather drive around in a Citroen 2CV than that thing. That's kind of a lie because I'd walk on my butt cheeks before driving a 2CV.

That reminded me about something a friend of mine said way back when (early '80's). He said "If I was crawling on my hands and knees through the desert on my 3rd day without water, and came across a Nova with a full gas tank and keys in the ignition,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'd keep on crawling". :p He was a Mopar guy.

Friday, I was at the pick pull wreckers. The first car (almost) that I saw, was a Lada. And it looked like it was in pretty good condition. So if someone buys one for $27.000, they can get a second for a lot less.
