Up north by my trailer. I stopped into the local Napa and this baby was parked out front. 91.....one of my favorite years of Ram.

An M body reunion.
I was going to get oil at the local Parts Sores and what do I see?
An 82 New Yorker AND an 82 Caravelle!!!
I knocked on the door and talked to the guy and he said his brother has an 81 2 door LeBaron and an 81 2 door Diplomat.

Weird factor on the New Yorker....it's slant powered.

That is one of those base New Yorkers that was not a 5th Ave. That might explain the 6.

For both years The New Yorker was the base car, rarely seen, but the base. The 5th Ave made it the upscale trim package.

Don't quote me, but I think by the end of 83 you could only get New Yorker 5th. The base New Yorkers were gone The was to make the transition to the 5th only cars which would drop the New Yorker plate entirely.

Gee thanks a lot. Now I want my '73 Satellite back, lol! It was a Sebring Plus with a big bad 318 2bbl. Unfortunately it has to go to the great car show in the sky (rot got the better of the subframes) way back in 1987, just a couple weeks before I bought my Aspen.
