General Information
This is my 1976 Plymouth Volaré Premier coupe, which I've named "Voltaire" for obvious reasons. It has under 60,000 miles, and while it's a bit rough looking and needs some TLC, it runs very well. The cooling system is brand new, and stays nice and cool with the stock fan. Power steering works, almost TOO well, and the (stock) radio can pick up stations no problem. It has a voltage leak that I'm currently working on tracking down, and the horn and wipers need to be fixed for inspection.
Future plans include rust repair and repaint (same color), interior reupholstering, and some mild performance upgrades, such as new cams, 4bbl carburetor, and headers, my goal is just about 200hp so it doesn't need much.
After the engine is dead, I plan on swapping in a 5.9 and transmission out of something relatively new, and seeing what kind of power I can get out of it. I'm not going for anything too involved, again stuff like cams and headers. Hopefully I'll be living in a house with a garage by then.
