It would be cool if a member with a white one and us could get together for a red white and blue photo shoot.

That might be a cool idea to send to the mo par mags for an article. Maybe throw in a supercharged white Mirada in the middle.... Hey Mega, what do you think.?

"Darlene" the Cordoba went to the paint booth yesterday. It was scheduled to be completed tomorrow/Friday, but will likely be delayed until early next week.

My first Doba was a night watch blue 1981 LS. The only difference was mine was a 318 car with a vinyl interior. My second one is silver with a blue interior. My first LS ended up being my donoer car for my second because it was too rusty to fix. I swapped out the cloth interior with the vinyl cause it was sun damaged being a New Mexico car. The good thing was it was a 99% rust free body. Your car looks great! Brings back memories of when I first picked up my first car in 1989.

I took FOREVER, but my LS is finally out of the paint booth. I've installed: New tires, polished wheels (originals were 5 on 5s), New red/white/blue stripes (thinner than original), Some new (and old) emblems (not necessarily 100% correct), new wheel-well trim, new hood and fender chrome trim, a radio from a late 80s mopar, satellite radio, tinted windows, installed "Lloyds" floor mats, and a bunch of non appearance (under hood) parts. I took care of about 15 dents and dings, and did some blocking before applying a base coat / clear coat. For what I've spent, I'm pretty pleased. The mechanicals are pretty well sorted, save for a leak in the A/C system which I'll be addressing next. I'll likely raise the rear end just an inch or two, I like the look. Here are some quick phone-pictures -- I'll take some nicer shots at a later date:

You might recall that I had the original wheels powder coated. I may slip them on to see what they look like with the tinted windows. I have a feeling they might look pretty trick:
