Well my hose clamped turn signal stalk finally packed it in.
Obviously someone gorilla pawed it.....it was cracked when I got the car.
The hose clamp actually held for a couple of years but finally bought the biscuit....luckily I had an NOS one. Easiest swap known to man..two screws and you're done.

A 5th Ave without cruise? I don't recall ever seeing that...Diplomats, LeBarons and Caravelles/ Gran Fury yes, but the 5th always seem to have cruise...

It looks like your tilt handle got bent too...

A stripper Fifth....
 
Well after seeing all the work Rich (Blackbirdsrt78) has done...I started feeling like a lazy sod....so today I started on the Fifth.
By the time I got all the stuff I needed and shook off my hangover I only had about five hours before the sun started going down....BUT...I've started.
So now the weekends are set out to finish it.

I got the worst section done today so the rest will be a bit more laid back.

I knew it was starting to get bad and here's what I found after pulling the rear passenger trim.....I hate rust!

Blew through one wire wheel that I had kicking around.
Then pulled out the more aggressive one and got it down to what I thought was acceptable.

And for the record.....
I DO know that compared to the insane work that blackbird and greymouser have been doing this is fisher price stuff. But those guys are the reason I got off my ass and started fixing this stuff....
