Gave it the duplicolor touch and got all the trim on.
Overall....not so shabby but I have some wet sanding to do tomorrow to make it pretty.....
Had to dig in as far as I could to get the rust and couldn't help biting the vinyl a bit....silicone.....
It's sealed and a hell of a lot better.
Won't win gold at the Nats but....it'll do for now....

So....tomorrow is wet sanding and buff.
Then silicone all those pin holes that the trim goes into so it doesn't just start again. Then hopefully finish the rest of the spots I need to do so I can get it oil sprayed before the snow flies....

Screw it....working all week and then working on the car yesterday in a hurricane....taking today off..... :toothy1:
Weather is still crap today.....very windy, cold and rain is coming.

Rain is coming Tuesday so it's off to my buddy's driveway tomorrow after work to try to finish some more.
He's got a big ass spotlight since I'm out of daylight around 6:00 now.
The stuff around the vinyl was a beotch and that's sealed.
Have to do one dog leg and the bottom of the passenger door.
Only thing that looks like a drag is two spots that butt up against the windshield trim.....I really DO NOT want to take that off but it looks like I'll have to. :eusa_doh:

But.....I do have to finish everything except repainting the vinyl roof this weekend.....they're already talking snow about three hours east of here by then...
